RVV-BDAircraft Guided Air-to-Air Missile

SPECIFIC FEATURES

RVV-BD guided missile specific features:
  •
  • the missile is equipped with the combined control system ensuring inertial radio-correction guidance at the major flight section and radar homing at the end flight path section.
  • the double-thrust solid-fuel engine with internal start when the missile is separated from the carrier aircraft;
  • the missile has digital active radar homing head allowing for the “fire-and-forget” firing.

PURPOSE AND MAIN TASKS

RVV-BD long-range aircraft guided air-to-air missile is designed for hitting the air-borne targets (fighters, attack aircraft, bombers, military carrier aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles) day-and-night, at any angles under electronic countermeasures conditions against the earth and water surface background, inclusive of the multiple target “fire-and-forget” firing.
