SPECIFIC FEATURES

The modular missile series ensures high combat efficiency in the process of operations against the wide range of targets due to different types of armament and guidance systems:

Kh-38MAE - inertial + active radar;
Kh-38MKE - inertial + satellite navigation;
Kh-38MLE - inertial + semi-active laser;
Kh-38MTE - inertial + infra-red.

The warhead may be equipped with the armament:

fragmentation high-explosive (FHEWH) or penetrating (PWH) type in Kh-38MAE, Kh-38MLE and Kh-38MTE;
cluster warhead (CWH) in Kh-38MKE missiles.

PURPOSE AND MAIN TASKS

Kh-38MAE, Kh-38MKE, Kh-38MLE, Kh-38MTE short-range aircraft modular guided missiles are designed for hitting the wide range of armored, strong, vulnerable ground single and group targets.

Kh-38ME missiles is a flexible weapon used above the battlefield or in the closest tactical depth.

Double-thrust missile solid-fuel engine ensures 2.2 m missile speed.
