BTR-80A armored carrier is a combat wheeled amphibian vehicle designed for transportation of motorized infantry units and their fire support at the battle field, fighting from the vehicle.
BTR-80A armored carrier combined the best BTR-80 capabilities - high mobility, cross-country capability and firing capability are measurably enhanced. The BTR-80A is fitted with means of communication, an NBC protection system, fire-fighting equipment, a bilge pump system, and a habitability support system. |
